Partner with Habitat NOVA
Habitat for Humanity of Northern Virginia (Habitat NOVA) offers many types and levels of sponsorships, so your business can always find a way to partner with us in our mission to provide affordable housing in our community.
We always have a number of events and projects in the pipeline, and are available to discuss partnership opportunities for any of them. Please review our sponsorship opportunities packet and take a moment to think what your goals are, and what resources you have at your disposal for sponsoring something like a Team Build Day or an event. Those two details will guide you as you consider the best partnership option for you and your organization.
When your group, organization, or faith community makes a commitment to contribute, Habitat NOVA will be your partner every step of the way, ensuring that your experience is fun, safe, meaningful and successful!
House Sponsorship – Group Build Days
Homeownership provides more than just a place to live; it gives families the foundation necessary to build a better life. Having a safe, affordable home provides life skills that make better parents, stability for the kids to become better students, and a sense of community that allows a family to thrive.
Habitat NOVA continues to build new homes and rehabilitate existing properties in partnership with lower-income families in need of decent and affordable housing.
We can’t do it without you! It is only with the financial support from the community and a gift of your time and talent, that Habitat NOVA can offer a “hand up, not a hand out” to Northern Virginia families in need.
As you browse the opportunities on our sponsorship packet, we hope you will thoughtfully consider a gift to help continue our work in Alexandria, Arlington, Fairfax and Falls Church.
Our homeowners share a common need for simple, decent, affordable housing. Thanks to your support, we’ve built 80 homes, rehabilitated or renovated 10 homes, and performed exterior repairs on 25 homes benefitting more than 400 people in Northern Virginia.
“In addition to the overcrowded situation where they share their two-bedroom home with three daughters, there are problems with the foundation and a sinking floor in some areas. Also, the practically nonexistent insulation and paper-thin walls lead to exorbitantly high heating and cooling costs.”
