Non-Construction volunteers play an important role within Habitat NOVA! We are constantly in need of volunteers with various skill sets to assist with our different departments, including:
- Administrative Support — Our offices are open Monday-Friday and we offer flexible scheduling.
- Photography — Professional photographers are needed on an occasional basis at a build site or at a special event.
- Community Ambassador — Help us at special events like community fairs and housing shows.

In addition, we have volunteer opportunities with our committees. Board Committees support our mission by providing guidance, volunteer capacity and are the training and recruiting ground for Board members. Committees typically meet once a month. Their membership is composed of Board members, non-Board members, and a staff liaison. Committees make recommendations to the Board, which makes final decisions. To volunteer, please contact the staff liaison listed for the committee or subcommittee.
Responsible for providing Habitat homeowners and prospective homeowners with a mutual support system, educational opportunities and a forum for discussions to help break the cycle of poverty.

Community Ambassadors represent Habitat NOVA throughout the community, educating the public on our mission. Subcommittee members take part in a variety of community events and public speaking opportunities to raise awareness of Habitat NOVA.
